Ode To My First Winter In The States

Wintry afternoons, I love thy nippy apparition that Sets me Free and Wandering…
A handful of sky I try…To Befriend, to Conquer….Yet thou Refuse me power unwavering.
Frosted chimneys, the Liverpool schoolboy, mounting snow heaps and my unfounded joy…
Like snow white feathers Perch High in anticipation…
Trespassing deer cubs enraged in hunger, Abandon the woods to Fathom deception.
There Come January nights, frigid and desolate…
Aaah! Do you Hear those creaking claws nearing to Devastate?
Time to Retire into a lost pastoral charm and idyllic childhood…
Nostalgia Throws in a good measure for my contemplative mood.
Behold that small brook overhung with copse and underwood Running through…
Surrounding with tied cottages, I Traverse back where our Love Grew.
It Formed the most Romantic and Sylvan walk of the year,
Your comeback is the only healing aid that Elevates me from worldly fear! :)
